About the brand
Movin’ N Removin’ is a local business that provides moving and junk removal services to middle-aged and older clients in North Shore Long Island, NY. They do this as a helpful and honest professional in a fun yet responsible atmosphere. It helps the clients relieve their stress during this significant transition in their lives and feel grateful for the convenience and great value prices.
The Challenges
- The current design looks a bit too serious and plain
- It does not reflect the fun and helpful brand persona
- The design elements look generic and not distinct enough
- Does not help the brand stand out and be memorable
Brand Visual Positioning
Aside from the brand persona, we also have to consider how the competitor’s branding looks, so we will have a better chance to stand out.

Initial Logo Redesign Proposals
With all the details and direction clarified, we started working on the initial proposals based on these. Each proposal presentation includes color variations and usage mockups so the client can easily envision it in the real world.

The dancing man gives the brand a friendly and fun feeland represents the fun and professional culture of the brand.
The octopus with 2 boxes mascot represents the company’s versatility in handling both moving and junk removal jobs. The mascot also symbolizes the brand’s friendly persona.

Variations and Refinement
The client narrowed down the proposals to two designs and asked to see variations for these before the final selection.
The Result
The client has decided to go with the graphic combination of what the brand represents without being overly obvious or generic. It looks more fun, friendly, and approachable but still maintains a professional feel. The design is easier to remember and stands out from the competitors.
