We Design Work that Moves your Business Forward.

Pugo is a family of highly driven graphic designers based in Liloan, Cebu, Philippines. Each one has their own set of skills, from branding, marketing, web design and development, to animation. Together they use their collective experience and expertise to produce effective assets and creative solutions to help you go one step higher.

BRAND NAME STORY

Why “Pugo”?

In Ramos, Cebu, a local vendor sold kwek-kwek, quail eggs, from a busy corner near a medical college. Small, humble, impactful. Consistent day after day.

That’s how we think about design. Not flashy. Not loud. Built to work reliably for the people who depend on it.

OUR STORY

How Pugo started

Gideon earned a Fine Arts degree in Advertising, then worked his way up from designer to Creative Lead at a multinational company. Corporate life sharpened his skills. It also made the limits clear. He left to go freelance full time.

He went on to win over 100 design contests, most of them in logo design. Consistent wins built a track record. They also revealed something bigger: the best work comes from a team.

While Yanna was still in design school, Gideon asked her to join him. Together they brought in a few of her classmates. That’s how Pugo started. Not a grand plan. Just people who cared about craft, building something worth building.

Today, the studio runs three specialized teams: the Branding Flock, the Multimedia Flock, and the Web Flock. Each is led by a Creative Lead who owns the quality of their work.

WHO WE SERVE

Built for people who need more than pretty.

We work with business owners and marketing professionals who are done settling for generic. You need design that performs. Work built around your brand, not a template. A partner who manages the process so you don’t have to.

Our focus: branding and identity, marketing design, web design, and animation and motion.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Good questions. Here are honest answers.

How long does a typical project take?

It depends on scope. A logo project typically takes two to three weeks. A full brand identity takes four to six weeks. Web projects vary based on complexity. Our client management team will give you a specific timeline before we start, and we hold to it.

For fixed projects, the number of revision rounds is agreed on before work starts and included in your project terms. For retainers and block time, you can revise as often as needed within your hours. Either way, you’ll know exactly how it works before we begin.

Our client management team is your primary contact throughout. They handle all coordination, updates, and delivery. The Creative Director is involved on strategy and direction. Your Creative Lead presents key milestones. You’re never talking to someone who doesn’t know your project.

We’ll send a discovery questionnaire before your kickoff call. It covers your business, audience, goals, and any existing materials. The more specific you are, the better the work we’ll produce. If you’re unsure about something, we’ll work through it together.

Tell us specifically what isn’t working and we’ll explore a different one. The exploration phase exists for exactly this reason. Clear, specific feedback helps us move faster and in the right direction.

Yes. Most of our clients are based internationally. We work across time zones and manage communication efficiently. Our client management team will coordinate scheduling so the process runs smoothly regardless of where you are.

Absolutely. Many of our long-term clients started with a single project. It’s a good way to see how we work before investing in something larger. Tell us what you need and we’ll find the right starting point.
