Boca Braves is a sports team based in Boca Raton, Florida. It provides athletic learning opportunities for children, preteens, and teens without compromising their journeys to academic success. Boca Braves strives to teach and train children in the sport of tackle football, cheerleading, and dance.

Along with coaching, Boca Braves also helps their participants to embody the ideals of sportsmanship, camaraderie, scholarship, and physical fitness. They accept and inspire youth regardless of creed, race, religion, or national origin.

Boca Braves was established to complement the National Youth Football League.

The Challenge

Boca Braves needed a brand identity that could hold its own for a youth tackle football and cheerleading program.

As a new team built to complement the National Youth Football League, they needed to look established and trustworthy to parents while still feeling exciting to kids.

The brand also had to work across a wide range of applications, from embroidered jerseys and small sleeve prints to large-format bus shelter ads and registration posters, without losing consistency or clarity at any size.

The Solution

Pugo Design Studio developed a logo system with built-in flexibility. A full arrowhead crest version carries the team’s identity on posters and jerseys, while a simplified wordmark-only variant handles tight spaces like sleeve prints and small digital placements.

The navy, red, and silver palette gives Boca Braves a bold, athletic look that reads well on both dark and light backgrounds.

For outdoor advertising, we built high-energy poster and bus shelter designs that put the logo front and center against a dynamic background, paired with clear registration details and contact information to drive sign-ups.

Logo Design Variations

We created several variations of the logo so it would stand out on different applications.

For long and small display areas, one of the logo variants excludes the arrowhead and only has the team name. It saves space while maintaining the look and branding of the team.

Football Team Uniform Design

We used Boca Braves’ official colors for the Home and Visitor versions of their uniforms. The arrowhead symbol is printed on the sleeves.

Outdoor Advertising Designs

We designed the team’s display stands with a busy background. The lively look denotes fun, excitement, and adrenaline in the team. The Boca Braves logo was purposely made large and prominent to make it stand against the background.

Contact information and the website URL are also included at the lower part of the display.
