Endless Pools and Landscapes
Logo Redesign and Rebranding

Endless Pools and Landscapes is pool and landscape planning and construction company based in Australia. The brand provides their services to couples and families, living in affluent suburbs, as an approachable professional, in a friendly and honest environment; helping them feel excited and relaxed by delivering a streamlined planning and construction process. The company also offers their clients a one-stop-shop for their pool and landscapes construction needs. With a better idea of who their ideal customers are, they have decided that it’s time to rebrand and redesign their pools and landscape logo.

Setting the Goal

The Pugo team aims to create a new brand identity, starting with the logo redesign, in order to give the brand a more high-end but welcoming feel. A brand identity that would reflect the brand’s mission of being able to provide to their customers their dream outdoor space of the highest quality. A visual branding that would appeal to couples and families living in affluent suburbs.

The new logo, along with the rest of the visual branding elements, should be simple and minimal to get that high-end look and feel. It should work on small scales, like an embroidered logo on a uniform, and in large formats, like on outdoor signs and company vehicles.

Below are the brand’s keywords which will help guide us in creating a goal-driven design. These were taken from the client’s brand discovery form response which we provided at the beginning of this project.

Aligning our Vision

Before we start creating the initial pools and landscapes logo design proposals, we have to align our vision with the client first. We do this by presenting a couple of design direction options that would best represent the brand’s persona and keywords. Each of these directions have their own strengths and weaknesses and we explain this to the client through a design direction proposal ebook. Below are the design styles we presented for selection.

Minimal Line Art

Using simple lines to illustrate what the brand does. Clean, modern, and simple. Looks classy too yet friendly and approachable.

Minimal Abstract

A subtle way to reflect the brand’s services. It only uses a few lines and makes you think when you look at it as you try to figure out what it represents. This gives the brand a modern luxury feel.

Pictorial Mark

A familiar object used as the logo. It’s easy to recognize and remember. It also makes the brand look friendly and approachable. The problem with this is that your logo might look everybody else.

Abstract Geometric Lines

An abstract way to reflect the landscaping blueprint plans. It looks very organized and makes your brand look very strategic and streamlined.

The Logo Design Proposals

From the design direction options we presented, the owner has decided to go with both the minimal line art and minimal abstract design styles. Below are the concepts and designs we presented.

Pool and Landscape Line Art

Clean, minimal lines to make the logo look modern and high-end. A landscape illustration at the upper part and a pool at the bottom. The circle symbolizes how the brand provides landscaping and pool construction needs in a single place.

Minimal Line Art and Abstract Combination

A minimal graphic based logo design filled with meaning and symbolism using as little amount of lines and strokes as possible. This is a combination of an infinity symbol, leaves for landscape, and water for the pools.

Abstract Symbolism

Clean, modern, minimal, and classy. It’s a subtle way to represent what the brand offers. The top part are abstract grass for landscape and the bottom waves for pools. The circle represents how
the company is a one-stop-shop for your landscaping and pool construction needs.

Refinement and Variations

The client has chosen proposal no. 1 – Pool and Landscape line art and has asked for some variations of that proposal before deciding on a final design. Below are the design variations we presented. We played around with the shape of the trees, the elements on the landscape, and the thickness of the strokes.
