The Client

Gracie’s Greens is a small, independent business based in Florida, USA. The business specializes in creating delicious and nutritious salads from fresh and organic ingredients. The business is named after the owner’s daughter.

In addition to creating and selling healthy on-the-go salads, Gracie’s Greens also supplies bistros, cafes, vegetarian restaurants, and other food establishments. The business has been receiving rave reviews due to the quality of its salads.

The Challenge

For Gracie’s Green, the PUGO team created a unique logo that will exemplify their dedication to healthy, quality food as well as their dedication to organic, natural, and fresh ingredients.

Aside from the logo, PUGO also designed the label for Gracie Green’s packaging. We stayed true to the branding and image concept of Gracie Green as we provided studies for these materials.

The Logo

For the logo, we wanted to emphasize the high quality and freshness of the ingredients used by Gracie’s Green. As such, we chose various shades of green. Green, after all, is the color of nature, life, and refreshment.

We wanted to incorporate Gracie’s Green packaging into the logo. Since Gracie’s Green place their salads in a jar, we placed a bold outline of a jar surrounded by leaves, buds, and branches. The graphic aspect of the logo invokes the idea that the salads are overflowing with freshness, nutrients, good health, excellent quality, and exquisite taste.

Lastly, we placed the words “Artisan Salad” in the logo to identify the products that Gracie’s Green is selling.

We made color variations of the logo so it would show up in other substrate background colors.

The Label

For the labels, we incorporated the same color template as the logo. We chose a white background for the logo to ensure maximum visibility.
