Paws on the Avenue 20th Anniversary Logo Redesign

Paws On the Avenue is a locally-owned pet supply store in Lake Worth Beach, Florida. They specialize in healthy, all-natural products for pets. They carry a wide variety of raw, high-quality kibble, and holistic foods. To celebrate their 20th anniversary they have decided to modernize their brand starting with a logo redesign.

The Logo Redesign Challenge

For their 20th anniversary, they wanted to update and modernize their logo to reflect their shift towards a holistic pet market. They are seeking a natural theme with earth tone colors. They want to use this new logo for their website, all their social media platforms, signage, tee shirts, and other merchandise.

Our Proposal

For their loyal customers to still recognize their brand, we will keep the core elements of the Paws on the Avenue logo: the cat, dog, beach umbrella, and the plant on the side.

For the logo redesign, we will simplify the shapes and soften the edges of the design elements to make it look friendlier and organic. The colors and fonts will also be updated to reflect the shift towards becoming a holistic, all-natural, and healthy brand for pets.

The Outcome

A simpler logo design with lesser but bolder design elements which will work for print, embroidery, and digital use.

The colors are more vibrant but keeping the earthy tones of green, brown, orange, and blue.

Instead of the square to tie up all the design elements, we now use a circular plant to symbolize the holistic pet products that Paws on the Avenue are offering to their customers.

The font used is made to look like it is designed by hand to give the logo an organic and natural feel.
